Open the RoamFi app, select eSIM from the bottom menu, and tap Install. Install and activate the eSIM by scanning the QR code or entering the activation code manually. In Settings → Cellular/Mobile Network, select the newly added RoamFi eSIM and turn on Data Roaming. Go to Settings → Cellular/Mobile Network → Mobile/Cellular Data and turn on Allow Data Switching. When you arrive at your destination, the RoamFi eSIM will activate automatically. You can also go to Settings → Cellular/Mobile Network → Mobile/Cellular Data to manually select the newly added RoamFi eSIM as your mobile data line.

Most eSIMs must be scanned and added to your device within 30 days of issuance. If your intended start date is more than 30 days away, please register closer to your departure. After expiry the eSIM becomes invalid. If you’re unsure about the validity period, please contact customer support.

Add the eSIM while connected to Wi‑Fi with Airplane Mode turned off. Method 1 (QR): open the RoamFi app → eSIM → Install eSIM and follow the prompts to scan the QR code. Method 2 (manual): open the RoamFi app → eSIM → Install eSIM → Manual Activation → Activate Manually, then enter the SM‑DP+ address and activation code we provide.
